The Powertrain Plus Coverage Plan provides extensive protection for key vehicle components. Covered systems include:
- Engine (Gasoline/Diesel/Rotary): All internal lubricated parts including pistons, crankshaft, valves, timing components, oil pump, and turbo/supercharger housing. The engine block and cylinder head (or rotor chamber) are covered only if damaged by an internal lubricated part.
- Transmission & Transfer Case: All internal lubricated components, torque converter, solenoids, mounts, and housing (if damaged by internal failure).
- Drive Axle: Internal parts, axle shafts, bearings, joints, and drive shaft, with housing covered only if internally damaged.
- Seals & Gaskets: Covered when required for the repair of a covered component, up to 100,000 miles. Head and intake manifold gaskets are included if they fail alone (diesel head gaskets excluded).
- Air Conditioning: Compressor, condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, and internal components. OEM refrigerants used in repairs are covered; hoses and non-covered parts are the owner’s responsibility.
- Steering: Power steering pump, gear/rack, shafts, arms, tie rods, cooler, and related components.
- Brakes: Master cylinder, boosters, calipers, steel lines, and associated hardware.
- Fuel System: Fuel pump, injectors, metal lines, and diesel injection components.
- Cooling System: Water pump, radiator, and heater core (if leaking).
- Base Electrical: Alternator, starter, ignition coil, module, and distributor.
This plan ensures vital vehicle systems remain protected against costly repairs due to mechanical failures of covered parts.
*All vehicle service contracts include a 40-day and 1,000-mile waiting period, before coverage becomes active.
